Vor gar nicht allzu langer Zeit hatten wir noch über eine Test-Firmware gesprochen, welche auf Android 4.3 basiert und für das Samsung Galaxy S3 bedacht ist, schon wird die neuste Firmware auch offiziell verteilt. In Irland ging es heute los, die ersten Nutzer des Galaxy S3 erhalten ganz offiziell ihr Update auf Android 4.3 mit diversen Anpassungen und Verbesserungen durch Samsung. Wie schon in einem anderen Artikel erwähnt, ist die Firmware mit ein paar Elementen der aktuellen Firmware vom Galaxy S4 ausgestattet, hat allerdings noch den alten Launcher und alte Widgets. Ansonsten gibt es Neuerungen bei der Kamera, grafischen Oberfläche, viel unter der Haube dank Android 4.3, den Trim-Support für eine bessere Verwaltung des Datenspeichers (daraus resultiert eine bessere Performance) und mehr.
Die Verteilung des Updates hat in Irland begonnen und wird jetzt die nächsten Tage über den Rest Europas sich ausbreiten.
