Smartphones sind so langsam an ihrem Zenit angekommen, jetzt gibt es die Smartwatches und viele Möglichkeiten dank dieser kleinen Geräte. Viele Dinge kann man viel einfacher erledigen, weil man das Teil am Handgelenk trägt und eben nicht erst in die Hand nehmen muss oder aus der Hosentasche ziehen. Schon jetzt kann man auch über Android Wear-Geräte die eigene Haussteuerung nutzen, wie ein aktuelles Video zeigt.
Gesteuert werden die verschiedenen Elemente wie Lampen, Hausschlösser, TV-Geräte usw. über entsprechende Module, die dann über Android angesprochen werden. Und hier werden die Geräte tatsächlich angesprochen, denn die Spracheingabe machts möglich. Die Module bekommt man beispielsweise hier auch schon mit Starter Kits, als Software kommen Apps wie Tasker, AutoVera, AutoVoice und so weiter zum Einsatz. I was fortunate enough to spend a day with Android Wear ahead of its launch and immediately took to adapting the wearable to our powerful home automation solution. Special thanks to Nathan Schwermann at OneLouder in Kansas City for giving up his Google I/O Samsung Gear Live for a day.
Lucky me, Android Wear works out of the box with the AutoApps including AutoVera, AutoVoice, and AutoNotification. To pass the voice command back to Android, root access is required with the Xposed Google Search API module enabled. We’ll need to wait until launch to seek alternate access to voice commands, but the demonstrated method is obviously ideal.
Notifications with AutoNotification are ready to go and extremely powerful, you can create mini-apps to control anything on your Android device and beyond.
