Was ist das denn heute für ein toller Tag. Das Nexus 4 ist auf Google Play wieder verfügbar, HTC kündigt ein Event für den 19. Februar an und seit einigen Minuten ist nun die finale Version von XBMC 12 „Frodo“ verfügbar. Das Mediencenter gibt es seit dieser Version ja bekannterweise nun auch für Android und auch für den RaspberryPi, nach dem dritten Release Candidate ist ab sofort die finale Version auf den Servern von XBMC verfügbar und kann dort für sämtliche Betriebssysteme heruntergeladen werden. Nach dem Break gibt es noch die komplette Liste der neuen Funktionen, welche bei „Frodo“ mit an Bord ist. Derzeit sind die Download-Server hoffnungslos überlastet, weil die wohl größten Tech-Blogs weltweit quasi gleichzeitig über die Veröffentlichung der finalen Version berichteten.
