Es ist endlich da, die erste Firmware mit Android 9 Pie an Bord. Heute werden die 5er Smartphones von OnePlus begünstigt, die neue Open Beta steht jetzt zum Download bereit. Nur wenige andere Hersteller sind mit diesem Tempo unterwegs. Natürlich lässt sich jetzt noch nicht sagen, wann die finale Firmware für alle Nutzer der Geräte 5 und 5T bereitsteht, doch diese Testversion ist jedenfalls ein gutes Zeichen. Neben den Neuerungen durch Android 9 Pie gibt es zusätzlich ein paar neue Funktionen.

- Display more suggestions when the search function is used
- Fixed an issue that prevented the app from refreshing when the location is changed
- Fixed an issue that resulted in some users being unable to find certain locations
