Es gibt für den Shield TV von Nvidia mal wieder ein größeres Update, ab sofort wird die Experience 7.0 auf die Geräte gebracht. Die neue Firmware hat natürlich zahlreiche Verbesserungen am Start, die meisten kommen durch das Android-Update mit. Es gibt nämlich das Upgrade auf die neuere Android-Version Oreo, die einen brandneuen Homescreen mitbringt, welcher intuitiver und auch besser anpassbar ist. Wie folgt sieht die neue Oberfläche aus, die das Update mitbringt:
- Favorite Apps: You choose the apps and the order! Hold the Select button on an app to move it. To access all your apps, hold the Home button or select the red Apps icon.
- Play Next: Continue where you left off in TV shows, movies, and games. To add content to Play Next, navigate to the content and hold the Select button. Note: Not all apps support Play Next.
- Channels: Discover new entertainment from your favorite apps. You choose the channels and the order. Navigate left on a channel to move or remove it. Note: Not all apps support Channels.
Organize your favorite apps into a “TV guide” style layout. See shows from each app on the home screen.
Update für Shield TV-Reihe
Für alle Geräte der Shield TV-Reihe gibt es das neue Update, es bringt neben dem Oreo-Upgrade auch Verbesserungen für die Fernbedienungen mit, Optimierungen für die Controller und weiteres. Ab sofort sollte das Update verteilt werden, es wurde bei Nvidia längst angekündigt.
