Steam hat in diesen Tagen zwei neue und sehr spannende Produkte angekündigt, in den nächsten Tagen werden Gamer mit Steam Link und Steam Video zwei neue Tools für Android erhalten. Stream Link soll in der nächsten Woche erscheinen, diese App bringt Steam-Spiele von eurem PC per Stream auf euer Mobilgerät. Voraussetzung ist ein Host-PC, der per Ethernet oder 5 GHz WLAN im gleichen Netzwerk hängt. Steam Link unterstützt den Steam Controller und andere Hardware, so lässt sich mobil zocken.
The Steam Link app, slated to launch the week of May 21st, allows gamers to experience their Steam library of games on their Android (phone, tablet, TV) and iOS-based (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) devices while connected via 5Ghz network or wired Ethernet to a host system (Mac or PC), with Android access initially offered in beta. The Steam Link App will feature support for the Steam Controller, MFI controllers, and more across both platforms.
Noch im Sommer soll Steam Video folgen, damit erhalten Android-Nutzer Zugriff auf die Film- und Video-Inhalte von Steam. [via Steam]
