Von den Mozilla-Entwicklern gibt es einen weiteren Browser für Android. Neu ist der Referenz-Browser, eine frühe Basis kommender Browser-Apps. Ein paar leichte Unterschiede zur jetzigen Firefox-Version 65 sind da schon zu erkennen, wie etwa die Adressleiste am unteren Bildschirmrand und das deutlich abgespeckte Hauptmenü.
The mobile team has been working hard on a new infrastructure that will help Mozilla build new mobile apps. This infrastructure is made up of a number of components (such as GeckoView, Glean and a new Firefox Accounts implementation) that have been brought together in a Reference Browser.
Frühe Testversion zum Ausprobieren von Ideen
Wie schon gesagt, das ist eine sehr frühe App-Version. Mozilla möchte Neuerungen und Ideen testen. Bugs und Feedback sollt ihr im besten Fall natürlich auch melden.
In dieser Google-Gruppe gibt es alle weiteren Details. Dort müsst ihr Mitglied werden, danach könnt ihr bei Google Play ein Tester werden und die App auf euer Gerät laden.
