In dieser Woche hatte man bei LineageOS mal wieder mit einem neuen Changelog aufwarten können, Version 17 bringt ein paar Neuerungen mit. Es gibt unter der Haube natürlich ein paar zwingend nötige Updates, wie etwa das Sicherheitspatch von März 2018 oder auch das Update des Chromium WebView auf Version 65. Des Weiteren gibt es nun einen optionalen Lock Down im Power-Menü, dadurch lassen sich biometrische Funktionen sperren und nur das Passwort schaltet das Smartphone wieder frei.
Neben dem Changelog für Optimierungen am OS gibt es auch ein Update für das Geräte-Roster, neu für die LineageOS-Version 15.1 sind das Nexus 6, Oneplus 2, Pixel C und der Nexus Player. Weniger Beachtung sollte man der eigenen Lineage-Kryptowährung schenken, das war nur ein schlechter Aprilscherz.

- Chromium webview updated to version 65 (both 15.1 and 14.1)
- LineaGenuine (both 15.1 and 14.1)
