Google kündigte den Start von Google Play Music Podcasts schon eine Weile an, ab der kommenden Woche soll die Erweiterung für den eigenen Musikdienst endlich verfügbar sein. Als wir zuletzt über Podcasts für Google Play Music berichteten, sollte der Dienst noch im Februar starten, doch es kommt so nun einfach zwei Monate später als erwartet. Ab dem 18. April werden die Podcast-Funktionen in Google Play Music bereitstehen, heißt es in einer Mitteilung von NPR.
Google will launch podcasts on Android and other platforms next Monday, April 18, inside of Google Play Music, a streaming service similar to Apple Music. Please note: this information is embargoed and should not be shared or promoted externally until Monday. Schon seit einiger Zeit ist eine Microsite online, die auf Google Play Music Podcasts hinweist und den Dienst für die nächste Zeit andeutet. Nun sind wir mal gespannt, ob die Podcasts tatsächlich ab dem kommenden Montag bei uns genutzt werden können, also auch bei uns in Deutschland. Ich hab da dummerweise so eine Vorahnung.
