[aartikel]B004WMF3LI:right[/aartikel]Und nein in der Überschrift handelt es ich nicht um einen Zahlendreher, tatsächlich hat Huawei das hauseigene Tablet MediaPad als erstes 7 Zoll Tablet mit Android 3.2 angekündigt. Das lässt natürlich vermuten dass Google nun doch eventuell Honeycomb auch für niedrigere Auflösungen bereitstellen will oder Huawei einfach quatsch erzählt.
Wie dem auch sei, neben dem 7 Zoll Display ist das MediaPad mit einem 1,2GHz starken Dual-Core Prozessor von Qualcomm ausgestattet, hat zwei Kameras mit jeweils 1,3 und 5 Megapixel, hat einen internen Speicher von 8GB und ist sogar mit einem UMTS-Modul ausgestattet. 380 Gramm bringt das kleine Honeycomb-Tablet auf die Waage und soll allerdings nur bis zu 6 Stunden Akkulaufzeit im Betrieb bieten.
Ab dem dritten Quartal soll das Gerät zur Verfügung stehen und daher können wir wohl auch bis dahin ein weiteres Update von Honeycomb eben auf die Version 3.2 erwarten. Ein Preis ist bis dato nicht genannt und ob das MediaPad auch hier auf den Markt kommt, wissen wir leider ebenfalls nicht. (via)
PS: In einer Stunde wird Huawei das Ganze noch richtig präsentieren, so wird es zumindest auf Facebook angekündigt.
